Production Stage Notifier: Monday.com Column Update → Routed Gmail Alerts & Status Sync

Problem:

When production stages changed on the Monday.com board, no one was notified automatically, project managers, warehouse staff, and sales reps had to check the board manually or rely on someone remembering to send an update email, causing delays in handoffs between departments.

Solution:

Built a Make.com scenario triggered by Monday.com column changes. The workflow fetches the full item details via Monday.com's Hook Columns and Get Item Details modules, processes the data through a Tools module, then feeds into a primary Router. Each route represents a production stage and branches into a secondary Router, sending a stage-specific Gmail notification to the relevant stakeholders and updating a Monday.com status column to confirm the notification was dispatched. Six parallel route pairs cover the full production lifecycle.

Result:

Every production stage change now triggers an instant, targeted email to the right department with zero manual follow-up, keeping all stakeholders synchronized across the shelving production pipeline.
