POD Mockup Automation: Sheet Input → 21 Production-Ready Assets in Google Drive

Problem:

A high-volume apparel brand was manually creating mockup images for every shirt color variant using conversational AI tools, a slow, inconsistent process that consumed hours of work per product launch across up to 7 colorways with no guarantee of consistent output

Solution:

Built a fully automated mockup generation pipeline on Make.com triggered by a single Google Sheets row entry. The client inputs a logo, hex color codes, and a background theme, the system then uses Bannerbear for template-based shirt rendering, Photoroom for AI-powered color swapping and background generation, and automatically organizes all outputs into structured Google Drive folders with zero manual intervention

Result:

Eliminated all manual mockup work, every product launch now produces 21 production-ready assets across 7 colorways in minutes, with pixel-perfect logo integrity, consistent quality, and a simple Google Sheets interface the client operates without any technical knowledge
