OpenCorps Business Intelligence Agent: Live Company Data Retrieval & AI Analysis via OpenCorporates API

Problem:

A business or research team needed quick access to structured company registry data from multiple jurisdictions without manually searching OpenCorporates, pulling incorporation details, registered addresses, officer information, and corporate status required platform navigation and manual data interpretation every time.

Solution:

Built an n8n workflow triggered on demand that fires an HTTP GET request directly to the OpenCorporates API to retrieve live company registry data, passes the structured response to a Groq-powered conversational AI agent with a structured output parser, enabling the agent to interpret, summarize, and answer natural language questions about the retrieved corporate data in real time.

Result:

Delivered an instant business intelligence tool that pulls live company data from OpenCorporates and makes it conversationally accessible through AI, turning raw registry API responses into clear, structured insights without any manual platform navigation or data interpretation.
