Daily Weather Intelligence: Tomorrow.io Forecast → Slack Channel Notification

Problem:

The operations team had no proactive way to anticipate weather disruptions, staff checked forecasts manually and inconsistently, leading to missed preparation windows for weather-sensitive scheduling or logistics.

Solution:

Built a Zapier workflow connecting Tomorrow.io's weather API to Slack. The Zap triggers on a scheduled interval, pulls forecast data from Tomorrow.io for the target location, and posts a formatted weather summary directly into a designated Slack channel so the team receives actionable weather intelligence without leaving their workspace.

Result:

The team now receives automated weather updates in Slack, enabling proactive scheduling adjustments before conditions impact operations.
