BAX-FRAN Assistant: Conversational AI Agent with Contact Search, Calendar Management & Email Capability

Problem:

A business needed a smart website assistant that could go beyond answering questions. one that could look up existing contacts, create calendar events, and send emails directly from the conversation, acting as a full operational assistant rather than a passive chatbot.

Solution:

Built an n8n conversational AI agent named BAX-FRAN-ASSISTANT powered by OpenAI, equipped with three live tools: a Get Contacts tool that searches and retrieves contact records in real time, a Manage Cal tool that creates Google Calendar events directly from the chat, and a Send Email tool that dispatches Gmail messages on behalf of the user. all accessible through a natural language chat interface.

Result:

Delivered a multi-functional AI assistant that handles contact lookups, schedules appointments, and sends emails from a single conversational interface, giving the business an always-on operational agent accessible directly through their website.
