Automated Document Generation: Monday.com Event Trigger → 3-Type PandaDoc Creation with Status Sync
Problem:
A business was manually creating PandaDoc documents every time a Monday.com board item was updated, selecting the correct document template, filling in data fields, and updating the Monday.com item status after creation, a repetitive manual process that slowed down contract and proposal turnaround time significantly.
Solution:
Built a Make.com scenario that watches Monday.com for item events, retrieves the full item data, and routes it through a three-branch router, each branch generating a different PandaDoc document type (1st, 2nd, and 3rd document configurations) using the item data as dynamic field inputs, then immediately writing the document status back to the originating Monday.com item column upon successful creation.
Result:
Eliminated all manual document creation, any Monday.com item event now automatically generates the correct PandaDoc document type and updates the board status in real time, reducing document turnaround from minutes of manual work to seconds of automated execution.
