Art Salon Operations Platform: Lovable-Built Admin Console & Artist Portal for the Full Artwork Acquisition Pipeline

Project Management
Lovable

Problem: An art salon ran artist submissions, review sessions, acquisition decisions, and artwork intake through scattered spreadsheets and email threads, with no live view of queue status across stages and no way for artists to see where their own work sat in the process.

Solution: Built Salon OS, a two-sided operations platform on Lovable. The admin console opens on an Operations Overview with live counts across every queue (Submissions awaiting validation at 24, Review Scheduling at 7, Review Sessions at 3, Acquisition at 7, Artist Communication at 2, Arrival Prep at 14, Intake, Photography, Metadata, Provenance Tagging, Framing), with a Founder Approvals route, an Add outbound prospect action, and a live automation-error indicator. The Review Scheduling page lists Active Review Sessions in a table (Session ID, Artist, Critic, Format, Type, Scheduling status, Session status) with a side panel showing the submission ID, panel voters, status, and the full Prep Context of submitted artworks (title, medium, support, inline thumbnails). The companion Artist Portal (Salon, Artist Portal) gives each artist a gated view of Home, Onboarding, Submissions, Reviews, Shipping, Invoices & Payments, and Profile, with each monthly submission showing its validation state alongside its media (audio recordings with inline player, text statements, and artwork cards with medium and support metadata).

Result: Salon operations now run from a single platform with live queue counts for every stage of the artwork acquisition pipeline, while artists track their own submissions, reviews, shipping, and payments in a branded portal built on the same system.
