AI Social Media Automation: Twitter Profile Scraping → OpenAI Tweet Generation → Buffer Publishing

Problem:

A personal brand or agency was spending hours manually studying competitor and industry Twitter profiles, extracting content ideas, writing tweets inspired by top-performing posts, and scheduling them, a creative and time-intensive process that made consistent daily posting nearly impossible to maintain.

Solution:

Built a Make.com scenario that reads target Twitter profile URLs from Google Sheets, runs Apify to scrape live tweets from those profiles, aggregates the scraped content through a text aggregator, passes it to OpenAI with a structured prompt to generate original tweet variations inspired by the scraped content style and topics, stores the generated tweets back in Google Sheets for review, and publishes directly to Buffer for scheduled posting.

Result:

Delivered a fully automated tweet production pipeline that continuously draws inspiration from high-performing profiles, generates original AI-written content, and queues it for publishing, enabling consistent daily posting with minimal manual input.
