An SEO agency was manually researching competitor map pack rankings, gathering keyword data, analyzing backlinks, and compiling client reports, a process that consumed hours per client with inconsistent output quality and no standardized reporting format.

Solution:

Built a fully automated Make.com SEO pipeline triggered from Airtable, OpenAI generates a competitor map pack scraping prompt, the scenario scrapes live competitor data, iterates through results parsing ranked keywords and backlinks summaries, stores interim data back to Airtable, then pulls client business records, runs a second round of keyword and backlink analysis, passes everything through OpenAI for intelligent recommendations, and auto-generates a structured client-ready report directly in Google Docs.

Result:

Reduced SEO report production from hours to minutes, every client now receives a consistent, data-rich report covering competitor rankings, keyword positioning, backlink profile, and AI-generated recommendations, generated automatically with zero manual research.
